Scenario tool
When would an upgrade pay back?
Enter a cost and your current and proposed effective income per second. The result is only a cash payback scenario—it does not price speed, convenience, Robux, or unknown game effects.
Formula
incremental rate = proposed rate − current rate, then payback seconds = cost ÷ incremental rate. Cost and income must use the same in-game currency. A zero or negative improvement has no positive cash payback.
How to read the result
The result estimates how long the entered incremental income would take to equal the entered cost. It does not mean the upgrade is best, guarantee that the rate remains constant, or account for non-cash effects.
Why might there be no positive payback?
If the proposed effective rate is equal to or below the current rate, the entered change does not recover its cost through additional income. Check the inputs rather than forcing a zero or infinite result.
Can I use different currencies or time units?
No. Cost and generated income must refer to the same in-game currency, and both rates must be per second. Convert the visible units first with the income calculator.
Build the two scenarios first in the tank planner, then use the progression guide to compare this cash result with other observable bottlenecks.
